Andrea Reynes is a freelance animal journalist who writes about the human-animal bond. She combines this work with an animal care service. She has also written about animal healthcare, including "Care of the Cat With a Chronic Illness," (July 2001, Catnip), "Ain't Doin Right"(The Horse, January 2001). Her photographs have appeared in Tufts Catnip, Equus, Veterinary Product News, and local publications.

Animal Care:

Reynes provides pet care service for large and small animals. Service includes vet transportation, feed, and medicine, including subcutaneous fluids and diabetic injections for cats. Her equestrian experience includes work at Berryfield Farm in Lincoln, MA, Cornerstone Farm in Haverhill, MA, Sundance Stable in Tucson, AZ, Floating Trot Stable,Danvers, MA, Omega Stable, Haverhill, MA. She lives with her cat Plume.
